AWF Calendars Are In!
Our annual calendar fundraiser has started. If you’re not familiar with it, the calendar features a different dog or cat we’ve rescued over the years and a short story on them. It’s something we look forward to each year and it helps us raise much needed funds to support the stray animals of Jones County that we save. The calendars are $12 and can be found at the following retailers:
- Anamosa Travel Mart (intersection of County Rd. E34 and Highway 151, Anamosa)
- Anamosa Vet Clinic (10538 Shaw Road, Anamosa)
- Simply Divine Candy Shoppe (129 Third Ave SE, (Paramount Bldg.) Cedar Rapids)
- Coffee Emporium (220 3rd Ave SW, (Armstrong Centre-Ground Floor) Cedar Rapids)
They will also be available at the Howliday Bazaar & Cookie Walk on December 14th at the Hiawatha Community Center. Or alternatively up to three calendars can be shipped for an additional $5.15, by contacting Gretchen at email@example.com. Please include how many you’d like and where you’d like them shipped to in the email.
Annual Howliday Bazaar, Saturday December 14, 11 AM - 2 PM
It’s that time of year for our annual Howliday Bazaar! As you know in the past few years it has improved immensely because it now includes eight area animal related non-profit organizations, so there is much more to see and even more fun! This year it’s been moved to a new/better location, the 2013 Cookie Walk & Howliday Bazaar will take place on Saturday December 14, 2013 from 11 AM - 2 PM at the Hiawatha Community Center at 101 Emmons Street in Hiawatha. Be sure to get there early to get the best selection of cookies, candies, and bars for $8.00 a pound. Admission is free and all proceeds benefit the non-profit organizations involved. Please click here to download the flyer. We need volunteers to bake and work at the bazaar, so if you can help, please contact Gretchen at firstname.lastname@example.org or (319) 899-4720.
