Tour for Life 2013 - Sunday May 5, 2013
AWF will be participating in the Mega Pet Adoption and Grand Opening Event: Tour for Life 2013. This is a joint event hosted by the Iowa Human Alliance and North Shore Animal League. AWF will be present on Sunday May 5th from Noon to 6:00 pm at the IHA Regional Spay/Neuter Clinic in Cedar Rapids at 6540 6th Street SW. Come Meet Us!
Public appearances are a great way for you to meet our dogs and cats and maybe—if the moon and stars are aligned—you may just fall in love with the pet of your dreams and live happily ever after!
If there is a particular pet you would like to meet, please contact the person listed in the pet's bio to see if the pet is scheduled for an appearance or to setup a private meeting with the foster home.
For those of you cat lovers, come visit us at the Cat Adoption Center at 118 S. Elm St. in Anamosa. Regular business hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 12-5 p.m. Or set up a private meeting by contacting us at (319) 462-5683 or wesavepets@netins.net.
Low-cost Pet Microchipping
In an effort to help pet owners remain responsible in these tough economic times, Animal Welfare Foundation of Iowa periodically holds low cost microchipping for dogs and cats. We currently do not have any scheduled due to a change in where they can be held. We will post here when we have more date and location details. No registration fee. No appointments necessary. The fee is $15 per pet or $12 when you bring your dog's or cat's adoption contract from a shelter or rescue. Information: (319) 462-5683
