Ella
Originally we thought that Ella was around 6 years old, but later when taken to the vet they thought that was wrong and she’s more likely between 10 and 12. Her foster home can see both 6 and 12 in her at different times. Ella is a very laid back dog, doesn’t require a lot of work, she’s just happy to be safe and warm. She’s got a little arthritis in her hind legs, but that doesn’t stop her from chasing her tail or running around in the back yard. She has a fairly large lump on her chest but the veterinarian has checked it out and reports that it’s non-cancerous. Since it doesn’t seem to bother her, the vet wants to take the "watch and see" approach. Ella loves to go exploring on long walks and is very good on a leash and she’ll let you know when enough is enough and it’s time for her nap. This pet’s adoption fee is on a sliding scale of $125 to $200. You decide the amount that is right for you to give. The fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, treatment for a variety of intestinal parasites and vaccinations. We have an all-volunteer staff, which means your entire fee goes towards helping homeless animals. Breed Disclosure: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we cannot guarantee their breed. We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.
