Brandy
Brandy (aka Piglet) will be about a year old in June. She came to us with a URI and what ended up being a nasal polyp that was blocking both her nasal passages. She had surgery to remove the polyp and is now doing very well. Brandy gets along with EVERYONE (cats, dogs and people) and would adjust extremely fast to any new environment. Brandy loves to play and will play alone or with other kitties. She would do very well in any home. Brandy is a complete lover and follows her foster mom around like a puppy. Since Brandy feels so much better she doesn't sit still very often and would rather not be cuddled. She is just too busy to curl up in your lap; instead she walks all over you and rubs against you every chance she gets. Due to the breathing issues that Brandy had as a small kitten due to the lack of nutrition she is a very petite little girl weighing in just over 5 pounds, but we think that given time she will fill out nicely. Brandy does have a 25% chance of growing another nasal polyp. If this were to happen she would need a surgery called bulla osteotomy to remove it and prevent further growth of polyps. This pet’s adoption fee is on a sliding scale of $75 to $100. You decide the amount that is right for you to give. The fee includes spay/neuter, and vaccinations. We have an all-volunteer staff, which means your entire fee goes towards helping homeless animals.
Breed Disclosure: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we cannot guarantee their breed. We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.
